It was a sad day for Feltham, but it wasn’t long before he got a great offer to do play-by-play for the Royal Newfoundland Regiment Memorial Hockey Tournament, which took place in April.First time ever doing it “I think I did about 20ish games, 20-25 games,” said Feltham. “I'd say there was a lot of yelling and screaming on goals and that kind of stuff, but it was fun.”When he was preparing for this new role, Feltham pulled some inspiration from some of this favourite play-by-play guys in the sport.
Still, he added some of his own flair to his calls. Things like"upstairs where nanny keeps the snowballs" and"coast to coast like butter toast" were all bits of Feltham’s personality that he sprinkled into the broadcast.
