A Corpus Christi woman is facing child endangerment charges after she attempted to give her newborn baby to strangers, police said. According to Corpus Christi police, witnesses said 25-year-old Yessenia Cardenas was walking in the 2300 block of Comanche Street on Sunday asking people to take her 12-day-old infant.Man arrested in Northwest Side slaying of elementary school teacher who was dating his ex-girlfriendAuthorities said Cardenas appeared to be under the influence of narcotics.
