“He’s described by his colleagues as a coach, a mentor — someone everyone looked up to as the glue that held his shift together, the best leader that many people ever had the privilege of working for,” Carrique said.Thursday was not the first time Mueller was harmed in the line of duty.
“What I remembered the most was the fear of not being a police officer again,” Mueller, then a 27-year-old Grenville OPP constable, told court a the time.Article content “I didn’t know the extent of my injuries but the expression on my colleagues’ faces said it all,” Mueller told the court in 2010.
