A Bravolebrity says that Meghan Markle was a heartbreaker in high school.
, explained that he grew up with Markle and saw it firsthand. During his interview, Vand said that he was friends with Markle and that while they didn't attend the same high schools , their schools did have a connection. He noted that even back then, he could tell that Markle was charismatic, charming, and "amazing."
"I went to an all-boys high school, and one of our sister schools was Meghan Markle's," he said on this week's episode. "I grew up with her. We were friends for a long time. She was a year older than me. Meghan was amazing, a woman among girls. Everyone was in love with her. She was sweet, and very kind.
"She knew what she was doing. She toyed with our hearts masterfully. We were at a party one time and she sat on my lap. She got nose to nose with me. For a 16-year-old guy, that is an emotional moment. She said to me in Farsi, ‘You are so beautiful.’ I asked her, ‘How do you know Farsi?’ She said, ‘I learned it for you.’ Then she walked away," he recalled. "I like to hope Meghan Markle is watching , and I like to hope she tells that almost-make-out story as authentically as I do.
But there are no hard feelings, Vand went on to say. He and many of his friends — he didn't name anyone from "We admired her," he said. "She was a good friend."
