People can’t access health support when they need it and yet here we are talking about policing and potentially charging people with criminal offences when all they’re trying to do is live in the city and that is not just illogical it’s actually cruel,” Idrees said.
“Increase your budget? You’re already doing too much,” said author and activist Desmond Cole, naming recent deaths like that of“You’re already harming and wounding and traumatizing too many people while you ask for more.”
