As pregnant singer and beauty mogul Rihanna prepares for the much-anticipated birth of her and rapper boyfriend A$AP Rocky’s first child, Rocky may be locked away for over a decade if he is convicted of a felony charge that took place last year.
This is all happening as the “Work” singer and soon-to-be mother is in her third trimester and could possibly be due any day now. , the minimum charge is 6 months while assault with a deadly weapon carries a 4-year sentence. His first court date could be anywhere between a few weeks to a few months so the LA District Attorney’s office can have time to file charges. Also, there is a possibility the District Attorney’s office can file an enhancement alleging “personal use of a firearm,” in which he could face an additional 3 or even 10 years to his sentence.
