A 13-year-old girl was reportedly called 'despicable' by her own teacher on Friday after she began questioning how her classmate could identify as a cat at a Church of England school.
The report adds that the two students were told by the teacher that their behavior was being reported to administrators and that the two may possibly not be welcome back at the educational institution if they continued to insist only two genders exist.
If they want to identify as a cat or something then they are genuinely unwell – crazy," the student reportedly replied. The two students can then be heard disagreeing, telling the teacher that people with penises are boys and people with vaginas are girls. This apparently upset the teacher, who raised their voice, according to the report.
The teacher also reportedly suggested that the two students were either confused about the topic they were discussing or just flat-out homophobic, accusations the students quickly denied.
