Ahead of Ramadan, the Sindh Education Department announced a revised schedule for schools operating in single and double shifts on Tuesday.

Ahead of Ramadan, the Sindh Education Department announced a revised schedule for schools operating in single and double shifts on Tuesday. As per the new schedule, all primary, secondary, higher secondary, and elementary schools will follow updated timings throughout the holy month.

Primary schools running in single shifts will hold classes from 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM, while on Fridays, they will operate from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM. For primary schools with double shifts, the first shift will take place from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM, followed by the second shift from 11:45 AM to 2:45 PM. On Fridays, the first shift timings will remain unchanged, whereas the second shift will be held from 11:45 AM to 1:30 PM. Similarly, all single-shift secondary, higher secondary, and elementary schools will conduct classes from 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM, with Friday timings adjusted to 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM.Double-shift secondary and higher secondary schools will operate from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM in the first shift, while the second shift will run from 11:45 AM to 2:45 PM. On Fridays, the first shift will continue as usual, while the second shift will be from 11:45 AM to 1:15 PM.
