Federal Minister for National Food Security Rana Tanveer Hussain has said the government is taking revolutionary steps for the development of agriculture. Speaking at a ceremony in Muridke, the federal minister said in the past, Fertiliser requirement of farmers had not been met and were supplied substandard Fertiliser.
The Minister said our government is making it easy for farmers through various programmes and is ensuring supply of quality Fertilisers on time.Rana Tanveer said if farmers and cultivators become strong, agriculture will strengthen. He said Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had issued special directives keeping in view the difficulties faced by farmers adding that farmers' prosperity is important for the country's economy. The Federal Minister said Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz is also focusing her attention on the development of agriculture in the province. He said farmers should take advantage of modern technology to increase production and avoid unnecessary use of agricultural drugs as they not only damage crops but are also injurious to human health.Pakistan Television Corporation is the Pakistan state-owned Television broadcaster, founded on 26 November 1964. This National Broadcaster has flourished since then, and today has PTV-Centers in Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta, Muzaffarabad, AJK and Multan.
