An 81-year-old woman has died after being struck by a dump truck driver in North York on Tuesday, police said. The woman was walking through the crosswalk northbound on Wilson Avenue when she was struck by a dump truck driver turning right, Insp. Brian Maslowski said. Wilson Avenue is closed between Bathurst Street and Laurentia Crescent, police said. The Highway 401 westbound ramp off Wilson Avenue is also closed.
