The meeting focused on boosting economic cooperation between the two countries, with the minister highlighting the significance of the 2022 Pakistan-Turkey Preferential Trade Agreement as a major milestone. The Minister also informed the Turkish Ambassador about the establishment of the Special Investment Facilitation Council to attract investment from friendly countries. The Turkish Ambassador praised the SIFC initiative and expressed his country's desire to enhance strategic cooperation through the high-level strategic cooperation council and the strategic economic framework. The two sides also discussed plans to increase trade volume to $5 billion and explored opportunities for Turkish investment in Pakistan’s corporate farming sector, including agricultural machinery and equipment.Your browser does not support the video tag.
