KARACHI: President of Iran Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi along with his delegation arrived in Karachi on the third leg of his three-day official.
KARACHI: President of Iran Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi along with his delegation arrived in Karachi on the third leg of his three-day official visit to Pakistan. Sindh CM Murad Ali Shah, Governor Kamran Tessori and others welcomed the Iranian president and other members of the visiting delegation at Jinnah International Airport in Karachi.
President Asif Ali Zardari’s daughter, First Lady Aseefa Bhutto, was also present at the airport to welcome the visiting dignitaries. Strict security arrangements were made at the airport and its surrounding areas to avoid any untoward incident. Later, Iranian President Raisi visited Quaid’s mausoleum and paid his respects to the founder of Pakistan.The Iranian president will also meet the provincial cabinet. Earlier, President of Iran Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi reached Lahore on the second leg of his three-day official visit to Pakistan. President Raisi was received warmly by Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif who presented a bouquet to the distinguished dignitary upon arrival at the Lahore Airport. Senior Provincial Minister Murriyum Aurangzeb besides Provincial Ministers Azma Bokhari, Bilal Yasin and Khawaja Salman Rafique were also present at the reception.
