Rooftop parking deck collapses into office in East Vancouver | CBC News
A collapsed parking deck and the damage to the office space below can be seen in an East Vancouver building on Thursday, July 14, 2022.
By evening, Fire Chief Karen Fry said via Twitter that firefighters rescued eight more people from the collapsed roof, and that it is expected that crews will be working at the caved-in structure for several hours more. Asst. Fire Chief Dan Moberg said it's yet to be determined whether anyone was trapped inside the office.
