Several Cuyahoga County school districts are seeking bond issues or additional tax issues in the November election.

Tri-C, Cuyahoga Community College, is one of eight school districts, libraries and cities asking for tax increases on Nov. 7.CLEVELAND, Ohio — Communities and school districts throughout Cuyahoga County are asking voters to approve higher property taxes Nov. 7 to renovate buildings, build new and pay for ever-increasing operating costs.

A 0.5-mill tax issue would raise about $471,000 per year, with the money being used for the acquisition, construction, enlargement, renovation, and financing of general permanent improvements. It would cost about $17 per $100,000 valuation.
