The collision involving two passenger vehicles happened Wednesday morning at the Wolf River Bridge in Dorion
Provincial police say a 77-year-old from Winnipeg was the victim of a fatal highway crash east of Thunder Bay.
Police said the two-vehicle incident happened on Highway 11/17 at the Wolf River Bridge in Dorion around 10 a.m. Wednesday. The driver of one vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. On Thursday, a police spokesperson confirmed the individual's age and place of residence, but said the name would not be released out of respect for the family.The two occupants of the other vehicle sustained injuries that are not considered life threatening.
