LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) allowed restaurants to remain open from Sehri to Iftar.
Justice Shahid Karim of the Lahore High Court issued a written order of the last hearing on the petitions filed about anti-smog measures. In the written order, the court directed the school children to conduct one day practical in a week related to environment and asked that a report on the curriculum should be submitted in the next hearing.
According to the order, in the report of the public prosecutor, it has been stated that the electricity of all the tire burning units has been disconnected. The court further said in its order that instructions have been issued to prevent LESCO officials from cutting trees, LESCO should first inform PHA if any tree is to be cut.Also ReadLAHORE: The Lahore High Court rejected the plea for a stay-order...
