Messages got an overhaul with iOS 16, but there are older features you may have missed, too.
Messages has a little-known subject field that works like a title for your messages. When activated, it appears as a separate line in bold, above your main message text, and it can be useful in certain situations .Show Subject FieldSubjectboxes. The former will appear in bold as the first line of your message. If you type only in the subject field, it will not turn bold and will be sent as a regular message.
To get started, you’ll need to open an app with SharePlay support. This is available on certain apps, like Spotify, Apple Music, Apple TV, and Disney Plus, but it’s not yet available for all apps.
