The movie is expected to make between $25M-$33M in its opening weekend domestically per BoxOfficePro, which would be on par with the two most recent entries. Even if it does not have much of a chance to be the biggest box office hit in July 2023, Insidious 5 could still be a box office hit on its own merits. The horror movie should become profitable within its opening weekend alone.
