One man died in Mianwali when he was struck by lightning, while a two-year-old boy died in Swabi after the roof of his house caved in.Babusar Top in Mansehra received snow, which turned the weather cold. The Met Office, however, said on Wednesday that the city might receive rain during the next 24 hours. It further said that the maximum temperature in the city was expected to be recorded at 40 degrees Celsius, while the minimum at 29 degrees Celsius. It forecast that a breeze would blow in the city at the speed of six kilometers per hour while the moisture level in the air would remain 50 per cent.Meanwhile, hot and humid weather persists in Karachi as the temperature rose to 31 degrees Celsius early in the morning. To make matters worse, the Met Office predicted that temperatures would increase further from Thursday. Winds were blowing in the city from the west at a speed of 15 kilometers per hour while the level of humidity in the air was recorded at over 70 per cent.
