Dar Addresses Chinese Business Leaders: Commends Chinese Companies For Development Of First Phase Of CPEC Deputy Prime Minister And Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar's who is in China on an official visit, addressed China's Prominent Business Institutions, Chambers Of Commerce And Associations in Beijing today.
The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the commendable role of Chinese companies in the development of energy and transport infrastructure in the first phase of CPEC. The Deputy Prime Minister highlighted business-to-business connectivity as a priority in the second phase of CPEC. He encouraged Chinese Public And Private Enterprises to take advantage of Pakistan’s business-friendly policies, competitive workforce and preferential market access. Ishaq Dar emphasized that the investment of Chinese companies in Pakistan is an example of win-win cooperation, contributing to the development and prosperity of both countries. He also presented a comprehensive overview of investment opportunities in Pakistan. Special emphasis was placed on the establishment of Special Investment Facilitation Council. He said, SIFC provides a 'one-window' facility to international investors through a comprehensive, whole-of-government approach. The leadership of Chinese Enterprises appreciated the incentives offered by the Government of Pakistan to international investors and various participants. The Chinese Businessmen expressed keen interest in exploring new business and investment opportunities in Pakistan.
