Following the recent Pahalgam attack, India’s government suspended visa services for Pakistani citizens and ordered the cancellation of all active visas from April 27. In this backdrop, journalist reports highlighted the move on platform X , prompting Fawad Chaudhry to mockingly ask,"What about Adnan Sami?" The jab did not sit well with Sami, who swiftly fired back, branding Fawad"ignorant" and a"fool." Sami wrote,"Who will tell this ignorant fool that I acquired Indian citizenship back in 2016?" The spat didn’t end there. Fawad, continuing the banter, referred to Sami as"our Lahori Adnan Sami," suggesting he sounded deflated after the incident. This further fueled Sami’s anger, leading him to clarify,"I'm from Peshawar, not Lahore." Taking the exchange a step further, Sami ridiculed Fawad’s past ministerial roles, stating,"It's astonishing you were once the Minister of Information and even of Science. What kind of 'Bu*****t science' was that?" The heated exchange quickly captured the attention of social media users across Pakistan and India. Some rallied behind Sami, while others applauded Fawad’s sharp retorts. This is not the first time Adnan Sami has found himself at odds with Pakistanis since accepting Indian citizenship.
