One man was fatally stabbed in uptown Manhattan and another man was shot once in Brooklyn, but expected to survive on Sunday.
A man was found fatally stabbed just blocks from Columbia University on Sunday, police said.
The 63-year-old victim was discovered unconscious on West 112th Street in Manhattan and declared dead just before noon, authorities said.About an hour after the stabbing, a 26-year-old man was shot once in the torso by an assailant in Brooklyn on 42nd Street off Farragut Road, according to authorities.The suspect fled the scene in a Mercedes Benz, the NYPD said. The investigation is ongoing.
