A 62-year-old man who was shot while sitting in his vehicle at a stop sign in the Englewood neighborhood Friday night was among two men fatally shot overnight, Chicago police said.

Shortly after 11 p.m. Friday, the victim was at a stop sign in the 800 block of West 71st Street when shots were fired and he was struck in the head. He was taken in critical condition to the University of Chicago Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.The latest fatal shooting happened shortly after 6 a.m. Saturday on the South Side in the 9400 block of South St. Lawrence Avenue in the Burnside neighborhood.
Police said an unidentified male and a 28-year-old man were walking outside when some approached and started firing their direction. The 28-year-old victim was struck in the left arm, and was taken to U of C Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. The other victim who suffered a graze wound to the left side of the head refused medical treatment.Around 5:15 a.m. Saturday, another victim was fatally wounded on the West Side in the Lawndale neighborhood, police said.
A 19-year-old man was discovered outside in the 3900 block of West Fillmore Street with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.No one was in custody for any of the deadly shootings, and detectives were investigating.
