PARIS - French Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire said a decision by France regarding 5G would be based on security and performance of networks, and Le Maire added that France would not designate any specific operator as not being welcome. Last week, French President Emmanuel Macron said it was not the aim of France to block Huawei, nor to launch any form of technological war, a day after the U.S. government moved to blacklist the Chinese telecoms giant.
