Are you feeling any late summer restlessness? Lately, I’ve found myself feeling like I’m waiting for something to happen as the summer winds down. To fill my time, I’ve been trying out new hobbies and taking a few workshops. If you’re feeling like me, stop by the Condon Shell in Medford for a free tango lesson — no partner necessary. This week, we’ve got movies, dancing, walking tours and more to keep you busy through this transitional month.
All programming for the festival is free and open to everyone.All summer long, the dance organization Ultimate Tango has been hosting free tango lessons in Veteran’s Memorial Park. If you’ve been wanting to learn, this is your last chance to try out this workshop. The final weekend will begin with a group dance, followed by a performance of Argentine Tango by the Ultimate Tango teachers and ends with a free lesson. This class is open to beginners, and no partner is necessary.
