He tried to play one more down but was sidelined him for the rest of the game. His status is now in question for the Southwest Classic next week against Arkansas at AT&T Stadium.
Thorne finished the game with 44 yards in the air and a negative 34 yards on the ground. His reserve, sophomore Robby Ashford, only threw for four yards and rushed for 25.
