Despite the rainy weather on Sunday, dancers, vendors and community members came out to celebrate and honour their veterans.

Community Head Dancer, Carter Hatfield proudly wore his regalia. Each person who designs regalia takes great pride in their work and adds their own special touches. Sarah JordanPictou Landing First Nation celebrates grand blessing of school after COVID-19 disruptionsVendors from across the Maritimes were also in attendance, selling everything from candles and bath products to handmade garments and dream catchers.

Wyonna Bernard joined in on the dancing, each dancers regalia is personal to the dancer, it is a form of self expression. Sarah Jordan Johnny Rae Christmas displayed his elaborate regalia during the dances. There are different types of regalia that are worn depending on the type of ceremony or dance it is being worn for.
