Some Guardians of the Galaxy franchise actors could be perfect as Superman: Legacy's new Lex Luthor. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 recently arrived in theaters, premiering to great success, with overwhelmingly positive reviews and healthy box office numbers. Director James Gunn leaves the Marvel Cinematic Universe behind with the movie. Gunn will now be responsible for leading the new DC Universe's creative side for at least the next decade.
Bradley Cooper There is already a rumor that Bradley Cooper was approached for Lex Luthor. Cooper plays Rocket Raccoon in the MCU, with the actor being the main star of Marvel's cosmic team's most recent outing, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Cooper would be a fantastic choice for Lex Luthor, as the actor has both the expertise in the superhero field and an overall impressive and versatile resume of acclaimed work.
Dave Bautista Drax the Destroyer actor, Dave Bautista, could be a great choice to play a different version of Lex Luthor. While Cooper might still have a future at Marvel with Rocket after Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3's ending, Bautista has made it clear that he is now done playing Drax. That frees up the actor to join Gunn's DC Universe, with Bautista having expressed interest in playing the new Lex Luthor in the past, which would allow him to team up with Gunn again.
