JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A 22-year-old woman is dead after a crash on Blanding Boulevard Monday night, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. At approximately 7:30 p.m. Monday, the woman riding a motorcycle was traveling south on Blanding Boulevard when a minivan attempted a right turn onto Sauterne Drive, a traffic report states. The passenger side of the van crashed into the motorcyclist.
The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue crews rendered aid to the victim at the scene before transporting her to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
