Third city in China, Anyang, enters Covid lockdown after two Omicron cases confirmed
Around 20 million people are now confined to their homes in China after a third city entered a lockdown over two Omicron Covid cases.
Residents in Anyang are not allowed to leave their homes. Non-essential vehicles are banned from roads. And only shops selling essentials can open.China has stepped up its strict zero-Covid policy ahead of the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, which begins on February 4.
