Japan's Honda HR-V gets a subtle refresh and an improved hybrid powertrain
The Honda Vezel, known as the HR-V in Europe, has undergone a subtle facelift in Japan, three years after its initial debut. For the new model year, the compact crossover features minor visual updates, introduces a new outdoorsy Hunt Package, boasts a slightly enhanced hybrid powertrain, and includes minor equipment adjustments.
Furthermore, the Honda Connect allows remote operation of the electric tailgate from the user's smartphone, together with other remote control features. More importantly, Honda introduced a new HuNT Package based on the entry-level e:HEV X trim. This one gets roof rails, 16-inch aluminum wheels finished in Shark Gray Metallic, and orange accents on the bodywork, combined with the new Botanical Green Pearl color option.
