But it also showed off something a little more immediately tangible with the off-road edition of the Ocean, which is called the 2024 Fisker Ocean Force-E, adding plenty of overlanding gear and gimmicks. The addition of a custom roof rack on the Ocean Force-E may seem counter-intuitive, considering the standard SUV comes with a solar roof feature. That solar roof is said to offer 1,500 miles of additional range a year from idle charging in environments with fairly clear weather, like California. However, the Force-E's roof rack does come with a webbed bottom, meaning sunlight should be able to still pass through to the solar panels when it's not loaded with gear.
