Irksome touchscreen controlsis Audi's answer to the Tesla Model S. Balancing refinement and sportiness, the new EV sedan is expected to come with more passenger and cargo space than the gas model. A concept car is all we've seen so far, but we kind of think it looks more like an A7, with its fastback roofline finishing under a trunk lid spoiler.
Audi says the concept is very close to final spec, which suggests features like its headlights with customizable LEDs, welcome lights that double as door-opening warnings to passing pedestrians, and turn signals that can project arrows on the ground might make it to production. And as this is expected to be a volume model, pricing should be relatively accessible, although a release date has yet to be announced.
