FrontPageBets takes a look at the odds for the NBA Finals between the Denver Nuggets and Miami Heat, as the series opens Thursday night at 8:30 p.m.
The Denver Nuggets are playing in their first-ever NBA championship series, while the Miami Heat are just the second No. 8 seed to make it to the Finals in league history.

The Heat were rolling through the playoffs until the Eastern Conference Finals, beating the top-seeded Milwaukee Bucks 4-1 and the New York Knicks in six games. After going up on the defending Eastern Conference champion Boston Celtics 3-0, Miami lost the next three games to face a must-win Game 7 on Monday night.
For the postseason, NBA MVP Nikola Jokic is averaging a triple-double for the Nuggets, scoring 29.9 points per game to go with 13.3 rebounds and 10.3 assists. Jokic is the odds-on favorite to be named the NBA Finals MVP at -320, according to FanDuel.
