2023 Kia Sorento Arrives With More Standard Equipment And Slightly Higher Prices | Carscoops carscoops
got a facelift for 2023, but the company hasn’t forgotten about its other three-row crossover. Quite the opposite as the automaker has announced a handful of updates for the 2023 Sorento.starts at $29,990 and this is a slight increase of $400. However, the extra cost is more than justified as the crossover now comes equipped with additional safety features including Blind Spot Collision-Avoidance, Rear Cross Traffic Collision Avoidance, and Safe Exit Assist.
Moving up the trim ladder, the Sorento S gains a wireless smartphone charger and starts at $32,490 which is an increase of $100. The Sorento EX sees its base price climb $400 to $35,890 but it now comes equipped with an 8-way power passenger seat and a frameless rear view mirror.The Sorento SX becomes more luxurious thanks to the addition of a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, rain-sensing wipers, and power-folding side mirrors.
The biggest changes occur to the range-topping Sorento SX Prestige, which costs $43,390. That’s a sizable jump, but thenow comes standard with all-wheel drive, a 115-volt power inverter, retractable rear sun shades, and HomeLink. Engine options carryover and include a 2.5-liter four-cylinder with 191 hp and 181 lb-ft of torque. Customers can also get an excellent turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder developing 281 hp and 311 lb-ft of torque.
