This story includes independent illustrations designed by Kolesa which have not been endorsed by nor are they related to Ford. prototypes were spied in the midst of testing and these renderings provide us an excellent idea of how the new SUV may look when it reaches dealerships.for its third-generation with prototypes sporting much slimmer and more aggressive headlights. These renderings from Kolesa show the SUV with the new headlights, as well as a handful of other features.
It goes without saying that Ford will also update the interior of the Escape / Kuga and while we don’t yet have spy shots that preview cabin upgrades, we do expect to see the same 13.2-inch touchscreen infotainment screen as the facelifted Focus with Ford’s latest SYNC4 software. An updated digital instrument cluster is also expected.
Ford is expected to continue to sell the updated SUV in a host of electrified guises, including mild-hybrid, full-hybrid, and plug-in hybrid forms. Various Ecoboost petrol and EcoBlue diesel engines should also be available in Europe and other markets outside North America. Look for the revised Escape and its Kuga twin to make their debut sometime next year, with the U.S. version to be offered as a 2023MY.
