There's a coupé model for those who want style, AMG versions if you're looking for something sporty, and three new for drivers attracted to the half-way house between a conventional car and an electric one. The PHEV models make up the bulk of the new GLC’s engine range, and all three combine a 134bhp electric motor with a 2.0-litre engine. The GLC 300e and GLC 400e have petrol engines, and outputs of 308bhp and 375bhp, while the diesel GLC 300de has 329bhp.
The new GLC PHEVs get a bigger battery than the existing ones, and the increase from 13.5kWh to 24.3kWh has in turn increased the electric range, from 30 miles to up to 75 miles . Two 2.0-litre petrol engines – the 201bhp GLC200 and the 255bhp GLC300 – are also available, along with a 194bhp diesel . They all have small electric motors to give them
