All four students from the college in Philadelphia were traveling along the New York State Thruway to go sightseeing in Toronto, state police said.
Manchester, N.Y. — Two college students died and two others were injured early Saturday when the car they were riding in struck a guardrail on the Thruway, state police said.
Both Moore and back seat passenger on the driver’s side, Francesca Ward, 21, also of the United Kingdom, were pronounced deceased at the scene, state police said. They were transported to Geneva General Hospital, pending an autopsy. All four people in the car are international students from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA, state police said.
