Police are looking for at least three suspects after a shooting at a Loveland apartment complex Friday left one teen dead and another wounded. Police said the suspects and victims appear to have no connection

Police were called to the Brookstone Apartment complex, located in the area of 2500 East 1st Street, around 10:15 p.m. on a report of multiple shots fired, according to the Loveland Police Department.

According to police, the three suspects were in a white Dodge Ram 1500 with tinted windows and pulled into the complex. Two young men got out of the vehicle and approached the first victim who was in a car. After the crash, an argument ensued and shots were fired, striking the 16-year-old boy. The two men then got back into the Dodge Ram 1500, joining the third suspect, and took off.

“In my experience, it is only through the robust partnership with the community that can help solve this heinous crime quickly,” Chief Duran said in a release.
