Two residents have died of coronavirus in Florida, the state's department of health said late Friday, marking 17 in the country.

Test kits were flown to the cruise ship on Thursday to test passengers, many of whom are especially at risk due to being in their 60s and 70s. Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear said at a press conference that out of 10 tests, nine were negative and one was positive."The only information about the individual that we’ll be releasing today is that they're in Lexington," Beshear said.

"We understand the gravity of the situation for all the creatives who utilize SXSW to accelerate their careers; for the global businesses; and for Austin and the hundreds of small businesses – venues, theatres, vendors, production companies, service industry staff, and other partners that rely so heavily on the increased business that SXSW attracts," the statement read.

There are now at least 98,192 confirmed cases of novel coronavirus in the world, with 2,873 being new cases in the past 24 hours, according to the World Health Organization. Bhutan, Cameroon, Serbia and South Africa all reported their first cases of the virus in the last 24 hours, according to the report.The popular Emerald City Comic Con has been postponed until summer 2020 in light of novel coronavirus, organizers announced.
