A 91-year-old woman was rushed to NewYork-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital, where she was pronounced dead Her 52-year-old son, believed to be disabled, was discovered dead in the fifth floor apartment during the firefighting efforts. A 67-year-old home health aide for the disabled man escaped the fire apartment and is being interviewed.One firefighter fell through a stair while evacuating the building.
