The release said the hospital "has paused scheduled tonsil and adenoid surgical procedures for patients under the age of 18 ... out of an abundance of caution." In response to a request for an interview, Wendy Stewart, a spokesperson for HHS, said "We do not have anyone available for an interview this time."
