Bomb squad called in police told of explosive device while arresting woman suspect
A chaotic sequence of events unfolded in south Vancouver Island Friday morning , resulting in the arrest of two individuals following a crash, an assault and the discovery of an explosive device.
Initial evidence gathered at the crash site prompted the arrest of the injured woman, leading to the launch of a criminal investigation. The driver of the initial vehicle that crashed was located and taken into custody on several charges, including theft of a vehicle and assault with a weapon.
