A 19-year-old man from Woodstock, Ontario, has been charged with dangerous operation causing death and two counts of dangerous driving causing bodily harm following a crash in Brampton that killed one man and injured two others in November. Police say the accused was leaving a street racing event when the collision occurred.

Police said the crash happened in the area of Steeles and Finch avenues on Nov. 24, 2024. Officers were called to the scene at about 12:30 a.m. On the day of the crash, police said the collision injured five people in all, but the number of injured was revised in the latest release.Police say the accused was leaving a street racing event when the crash took place.
