Sunisa Lee, 16, is one of six American gymnasts who will compete at the 2019 World Gymnastics Championships.

, which start Oct. 4, and though she's only been competing at the senior level for one season, you'll want to remember her name. The 16-year-old gymnast had a stellar year as a junior in 2018. At the Pacific Rim Championships, Sunisa was part of the American contingency that earned gold in the team event; individually, she took home silver medals in the junior division'sevents. That same year, she won the all-around bronze medal at the US Gymnastics Championships, as well as gold on the uneven bars and silver on the balance beam.
In her senior debut, at the 2019 City of Jesolo Trophy in Italy, Sunisa proved that she could already compete with the best, winning gold in the team, all-around, uneven bars, and floor events, along with a bronze on the balance beam.
