Breaking: 16 children, adult injured in school trip fall in Winnipeg
More than a dozen people, many of them children, are in hospital following an incident in Winnipeg.
Officials say 16 children and one adult had to be taken to hospital after a “fall” at Fort Gibraltar Wednesday morning. A spokesperson for Winnipeg Fire Paramedics Service there were reports the group fell 10 to 15 feet inside the complex. Winnipeg police told the Star the incident did not occur on a bridge, as there had been early indications this was some type of a fall or bridge collapse, but did not elaborate further with additional details.
