The updated prefeasibility study envisages average production of 74 000 oz/y of gold over the 11.1-year mine life. Total average recovered gold is estimated at 815 000 oz. The peak mining rate will be 10.2-million tonnes a year over the life-of-mine .

Primary production equipment includes 144 mm down the hole hammer, or DTH, production drills, 4.5 m3 bucket production excavators and 64 t payload off-highway mining trucks. Ore stockpile rehandling at 15-Mile is minimal, with two small run-of-mine stockpiles for storing mill feed and peak inventory of 700 000 t envisaged.More than 1 000 direct jobs in construction and more than 300 direct jobs in the operating phase are expected.
