In the 60s it was the Rockpile, a large concert space which notably hosted Led Zepplin on their first North American foray, then"The Concert Hall," where many more big names played including David Bowie, Frank Sinatra and Black Sabbath. The rock-solid structure and cavernous interior always made each show a grand experience.
