If you are willing to spend $7, I can more or less guarantee your life is about to improve. A few years ago, before an especially long flight, I googled around to find a comfortable. I've fortunately never had much of a problem sleeping, so I didn't own one already, but the prospect of this journey seemed daunting, and I figured a mask couldn't hurt.
This one was cheap, had good reviews, and seemed inconspicuous enough. But it has vastly exceeded my expectations. This thing blocks light, feels like a little duvet cover for your face, and stays put without tugging. It has made my already good sleep even better, cleans easily, and is substantial enough to really last. I bought one for my boyfriend and one for my mom, the ultimate endorsement.
