8 “Batman and Robin Will Never Die!” In Batman #676 by Grant Morrison and Tony S. Daniel, a flashforward to Nightwing’s first night out as Batman sees the hero cry out “You’re wrong! Batman has come close to death numerous times over the years, with several villains promising they’d bring an end to him.
